Profusely carved and silver inlaid Turkish blunderbuss

This came with a lot of antique guns, about forty boxes of parts and a lot of other things that were the property of an old antique restorer who passed away some time back. He worked for an antique shop specializing in antique weaponry, chandeliers, and furniture, having been in residence there since the 1940's.

The carving and silver wire inlay cover the whole gun heavily. I haven't found any marks, but the barrel has not been removed to check.

It's missing the top jaw and screw and the lock. While all parts are there, does not function. Someone who has more experience than I do with middle eastern weapons should not have a problem remedying this.

The inner diameter at the muzzle is 1 and 11/16", barrel length is just under 11" with the overall length 19 and1/2".

A beautiful weapon in need of a little TLC and a new home. Something I would be happy to keep, but, I would like to sell it to raise some spare cash for another "can't live without" purchase!

$975.00 plus postage and insurance.
