I agree that the fittings are typical for Madura: Seems to be really nice, old craftsmanship! Only the mendak is a later replacement of very low quality - would be great if you were to find an old example!

It might help to have a close-up of the whole sogokan area (taken vertically from the plane of the blade) and also of the remaining pamor.
