3rd Keris

I think its the same as the other 2 kerises but not sure again...
The handle on this one is a bit different color, so wood? or antler maybe?
I think I will be cleaning the blades after this and taking some pictures as well with them upright , with better closeups of the handles...
Any other suggestions for pictures or other things?

Mendaks, mendaks, mendaks . ;) :)

Madura style if you can find them .

This hilt looks like bone maybe, or antler .
You can see where the core has been plugged near its tip .

The peksi looks slightly bend. Is that correct ?

Blade could be nice. Will it get a soak ?

Best regards,
Willem

The 3 krisses are very similar (from East Java/ Madura), do you know where was you ancestor based? He probably got them from Madurese barisans (native soldiers).

Again a nice keris. Agree with the others, East Java/Madura again, handle antler or bone. Yes, all three need mendaks and the sheaths will be nice when restored. Remove the hilts carefully and clean the blades, would be nice to see what come out.

Detlef

Looks like it might be a Sada Saler pamor from the picks, but a good washing will tell more.

It is difficult to identify the pamor because of the rusty blade but it looks wider than Sada Saler.
