Aceh weapon identification

Hello,

I recently bought an estate collection that was accumulated from the 1920's-1950's. Got a few nice items for my collection but there were several items unknown to me.

I identified an Aceh sikin sword using this forum .

There is another similar piece I didn't find. the blade shape resembled the sikin but nuch smaller and slightly curved with a different type grip.

Hopefully someone can give it a name from my pictures.

The Sikin grip

The sikin and the smaller piece

The smaller piece with scabbard

Thanks for any help

Hello Matt,

Welcome to the forum!

That's a nice antique sikin/peudeueng panjang with a well-carved hulu peusangan.

The other blade is not from Aceh though: Seems to be a Filipino (Luzon) piece with some age (first half of 20th c.?). The blade shape is less common - what's the length?

Regards,
Kai

I was hoping one of the folks that know a great deal more than I do would answer this. I am not really sure what the second piece is but my initial feeling is that the hilt looks to be from Java. I hope someone else is able to pipe in soon with better info.
added: or maybe the philippines and I am totally wrong
