Blade cross-section is characteristic of Bugis style blades.

No idea of geographic point of origin.

The 2 times I saw keris blades with 'awkward' luk, especially the last luk (displaced a bit too much to the right), was with 2 pattani keris blades. However, the hexagonal cross-section are also quite telling of a Bugis influence. But we hardly see 'true-blue' bugis blades with waves as pronounced as this. By true-blue, I'm referring to blades produced by the Bugis people, and not produced by people in areas under Bugis influence. So this could be a peninsula blade, I reckon.

Thanks for the input Alan & Kai Wee, I did felt it has a strong bugis influence too. But the exact origin i thought it might be on the Sumatran side, Minang? Or it could be Riau too? Will update the pics on the cleansed blade soon.
