Hi Chregu,

IMO it is from left to right in your first pic up there: Kabeala from Sumbawa Island; Next one I'd like to see more pics of before giving my opinion; Sewar (Batak) from Sumatra; another Sewar from Sumatra; a Golok from Jawa.

If you can post some closeups of the Kabeala hilt, we might also be able to work out the type of ivory. :)

Agree with Thor, with the exception that I wouldn't call the one at the complete right kabeala. It's a short sword or golok from Sumbawa. Kabeala are from Sumba IMHO.
Second one in the line is a short pedang from Sumatra IMO.
Can you post dimensions please? Either the two on the left and the golok from Java are very short or the two sewar are very long. :shrug: The first sewar don't need to be from the Batak, I doubt a little bit.
I think the ivory at the Sumbawa piece is hippo tusk.

My Sumbawa sword/golok was shown in this thread: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...hlight=sumbawa
It is 59 cm long inside the scabbard, my longest sewar is 36 cm long. Just for your information.

The Golok has a length of 39cm, sword? poor sword! :D :D

Ivory handle the eyes are green stones.

It is very nice! I wouldn't call it sword, maybe golok is more fittingly. The blade form is really (like Thor write) more similar like by Sumba blades. When I find the time I will show you a similar blade form from Sumba. Handle material is indeed hippo tusk. Very nice knife! :)
