North african pectoral-pendant ?- camel silver whip

Hello and Happy New Year everybody !!!!
I just came back from Algeria and bought these two items: an ( old ?) camel whip ( with silver handle ? Origin ? ) and a big pectoral-pendant. The pendant is really big: 10,6 inches long with stones. The seller told me some people wear it on a necklace in the south ( touaregs...) but it's really bigger and different than the usual pendants we found there ( southern Tuareg cross...) By the size, maybe ( I guess ) a decoration for horse or camel / dromedary ? What do you think ? Kind regards Francky |

For the pendant,
there is a mark-stamp ( but maybe only a scratch, signature of the craftman ? ). and two other pictures of the whip handle |

Viva internet !
Just found look-like pendant shape: Turkmenistan origin for a big talismanic pendant , Asyk , Yomud group, ( it traveled douga douga to Algeria :) ?! ) |
As you found, the pendant is Yomud Turkmen work.
The crop is Gaucho, from Argentina or Uruguay. |
Thank you Oliver !!
That's why I didn't find much when I was looking for '' camel whip'' with the same shape ;) Really large in comparison with riding sticks for horse in europa... ( The call this kind of gaucho crop rebenque ) |
