Hello. I want to purchase some resource books on European antique firearms. Primarily from about 1650-1850. Is there one or two books available to purchase that others here would recommend? Thanks. Rick.

Hayward, J.F. The Art of the Gunmaker, 2 vols., 1962-3

Peterson, Harold L.: (The Book of) The Gun, 1962

Blackmore, Howard L.: Guns and Rifles of the World, 1965

Same author: Firearms, 1964

Blair, Claude: European & American Arms, 1962

Brooker, Robert: A Wheellock Collection: The Graz Armory, 2007
