A nice surprise waiting at home when I got back this evening. Most are the dealers pics except the two in my hand.
With what looks to be the original scabbard. I thought this was card, covered with textile and brass, but I now think likely thin wood lath covered with same.

Nice dagger David ... and so is the genuine looking scabbard.
Better pictures will confirm.

Nice example

Very nice dagger David. Good clean blade, typical hilt and thin guard. It lacks the small cut out area with copper insert on the blade, but nevertheless a very neat version of a 19th C Albaceta knife. Plus an original sheath.

Yes, a very nice example with original scabbard. Congrats David but be careful, they are addictive! :D;) My examples.

PS: Is there a damage at the handle?

Regards,
Detlef

Hi Ian,

Not all have this cut out, I've seen many without this.

Detlef

Yes there is damage, some of the "inlay" has fallen off, on the other hand it has its scabbard and the price was attractive.
