I should have known this! :D I have a wooden Gayo keris handle already long in my own collection. Thank you for the hint! Sometimes you have the obvious things in front of your eyes but don't make your conclusions. :rolleyes:

Just oil the handle from time to time with for example linseed oil.

Hi Detlef, thanks for the tip. The laminated blade does not show up well in the photos, New photo slightly better but not as it is.
