CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING NUMBER 194. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF HANDLING IT AND THOUGH IT WAS MIS- IDENTIFIED I WAS SURE IT WAS FROM TAIWAN AND WONDERED IF YOU WOULD BE BIDDING. I THINK YOU WILL LIKE IT AND IT SEEMED TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. THE SNAKES CARVED ON THE SCABBARD BACK MADE ME SURE IT WAS FROM TAIWAN. THE SNAKE LOOKS MORE LIKE THE PLANERIA WORM WE STUDIED IN SCHOOL IT HAS A TRIANGLE HEAD WITH THE TWO EYES ON THE TOP, THAT FORM SEEMS TO BE ONLY FOUND ON CARVING FROM TAIWAN. ENJOY YOUR TREASURE :)

wow! that was quick shipping! just got it five minutes ago...
anyone looking for a wrangka?

Anyone know what the Tibetan shield went for? I drove up for the show and stopped by the auction preview to examine the shield (but I didn't want to hang around all night).

It was rather interesting; the "heart mirror" added as a boss suggested to me that it might have been used by an oracle.

Spunjer 26th March 2011 11:36 PM

is that the sba phub shield? it went for 3,000

dennee 27th March 2011 01:55 AM

Thanks! That's some good scorekeeping. They ought to have you do their "prices realized."

I'm glad I didn't stick around for the auction. The shield is interesting and rare but only decent condition, and I wouldn't have been willing to spend so much on it.

Seems like there's less Tibetan stuff found in Baltimore each successive year.

I might just said that I feel me deceived
nevertheless, I noticed Alex comment's, mentioning the "professional and courteous" of that Co.
due to my personal feeling towards Alex, I'm ready to trust on him about those appreciations,
but I should like to understand at least where is the "gap"

Hi Gentlemen
I know where is the "gap" with "Auctions Imperial" :p
THEIR COMMUNICATION .... it's a complete miss :(

I was right to believe Alex, because this evening (29/03) very late,
I received my invoice dated ... March 20th, 2011  ... at last
Al Hamdoulillah ... Thanks God

pics a.s.a.p. the Knife will be home ... the life is beautiful :D

Felicitations, Dom!
The same with me. I received my invoice yesterday, and the knife should be shipped by the end of this week.
As soon as I have it in hands, I will take pictures to display on the forum.
Best
Nicolas
