Patton sabre U.S. M1913 cavalry sword any out there?

I am just looking into some research on these huge bowl guard swords, which were the last officially issued swords for U.S. cavalry, and wondering if anyone out there has examples to post. While these were, as far as I know, never used in combat, I think there is still interesting history to them.

This is exactly what I was looking for, and I hope will promote some interest in some study on these. While of course a 'modern' weapon that did not see combat, it is representative of the essential obsolescence of the sword, so historically of unique interest.

I still think these are fascinating as historical weapons, even though modern by the scope of our forum.
As a bit of trivia, I will simply say that while these were the last official pattern sword issued by the army, they were not the last sword designed.
Although production of these ceased with orders in 1918.......there was a protype designed in 1931, but never issued as all swords were declared obsolete and stockpiled, I believe the order was in 1934.

Guess I'll leave it there, and this will become part of the archive :)
