Is that little knife part of the kit, or is it there to hold open the flap?

Hi Mark, I needed something to hold the flap back .The reverse has three european type leather loops.It might just be from a big game hunter or It may be associated with conflits in SA.

This has what looks like European leather belt loops. I do not know why. I can asure you I did not write the name in :) . I do not care for gun things. This is available for swap or to buy. Get in conact the usual ways if interested for more info and pics.
