ANY information about this knife would be much appreciated. Who made it, where(country of origin), when, what do the initial mean? I know nothing about this knife other than it looks somewhat Nordic. It is about 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) long closed. By lifting and sliding the lever, one slides the blade in and out.

Thanks.

Hello Rich,
Ola Nordmann is apparently a personification of the average Norwegian, like Uncle Sam or "Joe" for US. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ola_Nordmann
Could the M.BST stand for M. Blomqvist? According to this: http://kniver.blogspot.com/search/label/Barrel%20knives he produced knives from 1876-1886.
If this is the case, could it be a knife made by Blomqvist for the Norwegian market?
I like the look of barrel knives, been thinking of getting some.
Regards
Emanuel
