While I don't think war will ever entirely go away, it's worth remembering that all wars end, and that weapons can go on to become curios and recyclables.

Ed, thank you for posting this. It is one of the most beautifully written works ever, and most poignant. For me does not instill depression, but pride as I do indeed....remember.
