I have to sell this one, to embark into a more expensive adventure.
This is a fascinating example, having been used by the Hussards of Napoleon and later used by those of Louis-Philippe, as denoted by the hilt made at Klingenthal (stamp of Bisch -1812), later remounted on blade made at Chatellerault (1834). It bears double regimental numbers on the knuckle bow, denoting it was distributed twice.
A lovely piece of history.
