Heres a weird item. I have no idea about it apart from it looks Tibbetan. It is 'powder horn' sized but with no mechanism for filling etc. End has fallen off, carved with animals and a sword, decorated with red coral and blue glass.
any thoughts?

Impressive whatever it is .
Nice workmanship too .

Taiwan came to my mind when I saw it first; but I don't think it's Taiwanese .

IT IS PROBABLY FROM THE REGION IN OR NEAR TIBET AS THE HORN LOOKS LIKE ITS FROM A YAK. SCORPIONS AND TURTLES AND SUCH ARE ALSO USED AS DESIGNS IN SISHWAN PROVENCE (PROBABLY MISPELLED  )
JUST MY BEST GUESS . A VERY COOL ITEM :D

Thanks everyone. I think it may well be from Tibet. I wonder if it might be a ceremonial 'powder horn'? Just for costume events? I've seen some old clips of amazing ceremonies in Tibet (early 20th cen) and this looks to have some age to it.
LOL! This sort of thing is so frustrating!

The sword handle looks likeit would fit with that area too I think?
