My thanks to Jose for pointing out this seller!

The seller does not normally carry Philippine or Indonesian, but has some truly incredible (and expensive) India weapons. He mentioned that he sold one sword during the auction that was competing with the Timonium seminar for $20,000!

Here is a very heavy Moro cuirasse. Easily as heavy as an all-bronze Moro armor I have. I guess the weight is in the chain.

The plates are horn with silver decorations. A few old native repairs that I decided to leave as is. The chain is non-magnetic, so I suppose it is bronze or?

The armor is in surprisingly good condition. Apparent distortions in my pictures are because it is laying down. I am building an upright stand so it will display better.

mail displays better on mannaquins. I would suggest a headless torso type no arms. It is a nice coat good centerpiece

Thanks, again, Ward.

I am looking for a mannequin. I need a young man/youth to fit the Filipino physique.

Congrats Bill, a very nice piece. Do you still have room in the lions den?
I look forward to viewing it mounted in an upright position.

regards
