This unusual brass bladed old Toerag Telek has an Arabic inscription, can anybody read it. Sorry about the pictures the sun was very low in the sky, I can take more if needed. Total length in scabbard 38cm, blade 27cm, handle 16.5cm. Thank you for any help.

Wow thanks Dom. This knife looks reasonably old say turn of the 19th/20th century and well worn. I was a little surprised it is just "made in Ghat" but why not? I am proud of my work  The picture of the old city only adds to the romance of owning the piece. Thank you.
Some better pics.

Hi Tim
definitively two very nice Tuareg arm daggers,
but with the type of the inscription I would suggest more 20th century
than earliest ;)

Look at this one almost a straight line south across the sea of sand.

Hi Tim
- it's Sand Sea of Kalansho (Calanscio) - Libya ?
- it's Sand Sea of Rebiana - Libya ?
- both are along Egyptian border
- it's more than 1200km (745 miles ±) away from Ghat
as far I know, in Ghat, since long, there is a large Tuareg community, community issued from the Tassili area, who is a very touristic area,
much more than the East part, who is practically uninhabited,
(personal background, having been resident in Libya during 3 years)
