Just ended.

The form is unmistakeably Kurdish.
I am a bit confused by the silver embellishments on the handle. Not that I think they might be fake, Heavens forbid: I saw similar on another Jambiya or two. But they look Arabian ( as in Peninsula :D ) to me.

It also had 3 prongs on the pommel.
Any ideas?

Pretty sure it's Kurdish... they make what to me is the most functional jambiya of all.

Who got it? I'd love to see it cleaned and etched. Sometimes they're wootz.

Yes, I would definitely say Kurdish. Perhaps for a higher ranking person with the 9 silver (?) filigree bulbs.
