Just received. (Thanks Ron) 24" overall.
Curious about the markings on the blade. Any ideas?

Beautiful sword!
It was made in Tjikeroeh, Java.
The number on the blade is most likely a date of manufacture, meaning this sword was made in 1892.

I think, Your sword was already discussed here, at least a twin of Yours:

Thank you for the links. The sword posted is the one I have. Did not know it had been posted before.
I also appreciate the other links. I had seen this style before but could not place it. Good to know it is from Tijeroeh.

Hello all,
my one wasn't made at Tjikeroeh, but looks very similar to Yours. I can't read the third number of the blade. Might You help me?

They all look very much alike the one in AvZ's book. Beautiful work!
