Hi,
saw this on eBay and originally though it was a Kastane variant..stylised hilt ....similar to European court sword but with 'monster' adornment. The blade has foiliate etching, single fuller and looked euro. However, after e-mailing various questions it came to light that the blade was totally blunt and quite thin.

Then I searched for other examples to verify the authencity of this type of sword.

......and found this........a nice combination women and swords ;) :D

One of the women is using a remarkably similar sword....the final price wasn't too steep ...for a curio

All comments and info gratefully received, thank you

David

UK Belly Dancers/Instructors (http://www.entsweb.co.uk/dance/bellydance/index.html)

the first one is in kent (her website is down)

third one has pics of sword on her head...

all you need now is the silks & a big ruby for your belly button.

i note your sword is straight, so maybe you'll need more lessons to balance it properly.

Ah Kronckew.....I never won the sword.......anyway I haven't got nice 'legs' to 'compliment' the outfit :p ...so I decided not to buy
 I just hope that I was right not to buy this sword...... Stone does mention that some Kastanes had straight European blades
