A small Philippine gunong. Overall length is 9 1/2". Laminated blade is 5 5/8" long. Handle material may be kamagong? It's a nice hard wood with a brown and almost black color. The guard is made from a coin that says Queen Victoria on one side. Rubber band scabbard wrapping replaced by rattan. :) I'm guessing that the age is pre WWII. Comments or observations welcomed. Thanks for looking.

Since the hilt is not quite in the pistol grip form, I would also assume pre-WWII, actually at least around 1900. Although not very decorative, the bladed is nicely laminated. :)

I don't think I would care much about the ascetics of the knife if I were on the receiving end of that little dagger  :D

Thanks guys. I was pleasantly surprised to find the lamination. :)
