I'm not sure this qualifies as a weapon technically, I think it's pretty close. This is a fishhook that came from the Solomon Islands/New Guinea area, around 1940. It was made by the local indigenous natives. It seems to be made from carved turtle shell (hook part), some sort of opalescent shell (shank part), some beads, and string. An ingenious job of joining the parts together has been accomplished. I am not positive about the details of my description and wondered if anyone here knows anything about these things?

It looks like a hook for fishing.
In Indonesia & Oceania people use hooks like this.
