Blade tip was broken. Inlaid gold on the hilt was removed. And there 's no scabbard.

1. Is this a N-indian or islandic SE-asean sword ?
2. And what should I call this kind of blade and hilt? Firangi on pulwar hilt??
3. What 's do the symbols on the blade mean? Anything related to european longsword?

My appology for so many question :o

HUSAR, Many thanks. Now I 'm quite sure that it is SE-asian podang with a european blade.

Is there any info about the symbols ??

The symbols seems local to me, but maybe someone else with more knowledge than I have about decorations of the area can tell more.

I see a European blade here. The marks look like trade, workshop, makers stamps. I see 18th- early 19th century typology. Capital letter "A"s on there side tip to tip and hearts on there sides point-point.
