Hello friends,
Picked up this sweet little gunong on Ebay. Another forumite and I both bid in the last seconds (sorry). It has a very well forged blade with faint lamination. Overall length is 9 3/8". The handle is banati (?) and the guard and ferrule are a copper alloy. No scabbard. Thanks for your comments!

Could be an early example. I think the guard is brass and a little more etching would bring out the laminations. IF you need a scabbard email me at battara@hotmail.com.

I agree with Jose, definitely looks like an older example. Beautiful wood as well. Good score, it's getting really hard to find the old ones these days. Mot of what you see on eBay is post WW2. :)

I'd say late 20thC Marcus. The pointy curves are a give-away.
