Hi All,

i will pick up these two Sikin Panjang next monday and i am happy that i finally got one with golden crown and one with gold inlay to add to the growing collection. Sadly no scabbards but i think most of them appear without their scabbard. The one with the nice gold inlay into the blade has also some interesting pamor in my opinion. The one with the golden crown, i am not sure but we will see when i picked them up.

Wow! Congrats Martin! :) And the gold inlay is nearly completely intact! Very nice.

Very nice. I had to make a scabbard for mine (has a gold crown on it).

I picked up the Sikin last Monday at the auctionhouse and I am impressed by the quality. And the gold crown was tested and it turned out 18 carat. So that's a bonus. The inlay in the other one is allmost complete and looks good both have pamor blades and both are having some light rust on one side of the blade the other side the pamor is clearly visible. Now I want to clean them but not back to shiny are there some tips. Like vinegar cleaning or evaporust (rust remover). Anyone some good solid tips?

Hi Martin,

When you don't want to clean them to shiny I just would use the finest steel wool with some oil! Both are very nice!
