Here is a pair of Japanese stirrups.
Edo period for sure but no idea if early or late...

Oddly enough, I haven't found any other posts on the site that mention them, but perhaps I haven't searched properly.

They seem to be signed.
The signature is of better quality on one of them. Can anyone translate it ?
It could help for fix it.🙂

Idem, does some specialist know if the ́’flower’́ symbol is a famille crest ?

Does anyone have any tips or a magic method for restoring the shine to silver inserts without damaging them and remove some rust?

Kind regards

With regard to cleaning the silver without damage....Not sure where you live but there is a product made by Goddards (UK) called Silver Cloth which is available from good Supermarkets. All you need do is lightly rub the silver with the cloth. Works really well.
Lovely items by the way....
