Went to a local arms and militaria fair yesterday, and came back with a few purchases, a couple of them items I had really been hoping to find. First up, a Chilean Corvo. Typical enough that I don't really have anything to say about it much. Single edge on the inside of the curve, chisel ground false edge at back, and a stacked grip of horn and brass.

A very nice one, congrats! Here is a group picture of my Chilean knives for comparison.

Nice selection. We don't get many stacked grips here in the Isle of the Mighty, and it's only since I joined here that I learned owt about them.

These Chilean knives are somewhat rare and since they are discussed at this place several times the prices for them rise! ;):D:rolleyes:
You can be lucky that you got it and this may be rather cheap! ;)

It cost less than a current US bayonet.

Mine: I actually prefer the smaller offset one, it lives on the table next to my bed. The other, the back edge is too square and hurts my hand.

Nice ones, I think I was lucky in that Latin American stuff over here is rare enough that many don't recognise it for what it is. I certainly didn't before I joined this forum.
