Hello everyone

A seller is offering what he considers to be a cavalry rifle. All he says is that it has French markings (but he does not show them) and denies that it is missing any parts, such as the trigger and the trigger guard. Please, if anyone can identify it.

Hi Fernando,

This looks like the remains of a mule ear musket. The stock seems to be missing the back portion?
If i can decern this right, the original barrel to this stock noq functions as a sleeve for a smaller inserted barrel.
I would be very carefull, it does not look like anything that would function and would in my opinion not be a standard cavalry carbine/musket.:o
