I just got the notification that I've won this very unusual keris sajen by a German auction. It's 17 cm long. I was described as "small African dagger"! :D
What do you think?

I think I've never seen anything like it.

So we are already two! :D It was cheap and it seems not particularly old. But it seems to be a pamor blade. I am curious to hold it in my hands! ;)

I don’t know what to think, but AFAIK keris sajen are not part of Bugis culture.

My understanding as well! ;)

I received it, like I thought it's laminated.

A rather recent jimat? I don't think it's for those who travel.

Laminated, yes, but it could have been made from an old tombak, or a pedang, or maybe even a keris.

Possible, who knows? By time it will receive a warangan, maybe it will shed some light on it. ;)

It was very cheap so it's equal what it is, I'll keep it as curiosity. ;)

Agreed.
Keris study is not all about royal level pieces.
