Most of the fotos are unloadable but what I see looks like a French officers pistol ca. 1800, probably made at St. Etienne/F

Mmmmm.....it seems doubtful to me. The screw that holds the key is too long, and protrudes from the plate. The upper jaw is square, as if there had not been a copy to copy. The protrusion that stops the upper mandible in the cock's foot is too low. The belly of the climbing shoe is rude......I have never seen these curves in the wood (stock)......

It looks as if the barrel could be demounted, and if so, any proof marks revealed would help in ID of it's origin.

Agreed. The more you look at the whole thing the weirder it gets. Too many stylistic features that don't really work together. The stock shape seems wrong, the brass colour doesnt appear typical of period brass. The chequering / inlay is inept. My guess is a mid 20 th century reproduction possibly Spanish. A view of the lock internals and the breach plug might give some clues.

Hello
It is not a test punch, from an official test bench. It seems to be a brand of the one who built the cannon (barrel)
