Good evening,
I bought this old large wooden statue of a Chinese temple guardian. Said to be Wei Tuo Pusa
Early Qing dynasty sadly with a lot of wormholes,
Stabilised wood I hope...😬
I have seen this type of sword on several Chinese statues but no real ones.
Does that remind you of something ?
I like the removable helmet

Here are the

I received it and treat it ,
Interesting the left hand position, I didn't notice it:
Palm up, thumb, ring figer and little finger opened
and index and middle finger closed
( personally, I have difficulty doing it 😅 )
Somebody knows this hand position ?

depending on how you look at it,
it's cute and quiet or a little less...
