Hello I need a little help to identify this mace if it is authentic and if it is how old it is and what country. Thank you in advance. The handle is wood only the up part is iron

There are authentic aspects to it, from an overall perspective, this has been attached to a new shaft.

I suspect you'll find the spikes will unscrew as the cap to the top may also.

Whilst this has some really nice thick old flanges, and yes, it can function as a weapon, it's going to HURT/CRIPPLE someone, it is something I personally would box this in to curio and ceremony.

Had it not been repaired, I think there may have been some good hope for it with those flanges... others more versed in Indo Persian arms may chime in.

I thought the same thing. If the cap on top unscrews, maybe you will get lucky and the spikes are attached to the sleeve that doesn't look original, and if it slides off, you can return it to its original configuration. Are those nails holding the sleeve on to the shaft? They do not appear to be old and this would also indicate a later modification.

Mace head is genuine to me, ottoman or polish, hungarian maybe.
Spikes are later add on from what period hard to tell.
And handle is from chair or some other house hold object, newer adition.
But nice mace head.
