This is another mystery blade in my collection. I am thinking Indonesian or Malaysian. It is well made, with nice wood sheath and grips. The blade is not very sharp and has obviously been etched. Any opinions would be welcome.

This is not easy to nail down, also because it's probably not very old (vintage to young antique?).
It's definitely out of the Balinese cultural sphere, probably originating from Lombok IMHO.

Hello
I think the blade is a bit old but it suffered a lot of erosion (especially on the shape at its base) during a somewhat violent repolishing (probably to remove a thick layer of rust). The reste are moderne.
I think also Lombok or Bali.

Hi kai and Protector,
My first thought on seeing this piece was also a fairly recent Lombok piece. The shape of the hilt reminds me of a Lombok cundrik that I once owned, and it also had spalted wood for the hilt.

Yeah, the scabbard reminds me of this (http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showpost.php?p=231959&postcount=14) style of Lombok keris:
