I've lost notes for this one. Origin? 16th or 17th century? Saved to my balls folder in January 2011. No doubt I had saved it for Jim and his five ball discussion but I set this one aside without proper annotation.

Hi Hotspur, its a German boar sword first quarter of the 16th c , sold at Fisher may 1933.

Someone pointed out there is a similar sword here

Another pointed to a similar sword in the Wallace museum and yet another wasn't sure of a Spanish or Italian museum.

Its in the Fischer catalogue 19 march 1933, but there are no extra pictures in it, it is the exact picture you posted here.
