Thank you for posting this amazing Hounslow hanger!!!!
Pending its transfer to European, I can add a few observations.

These markings appear to resemble variations of the 'fylfot', or armed cross (some known as the swastika) and appear to have been used notably in Passau (Germany) through the 16th and into early 17th c.
As is well known, the famed 'running wolf' marking, as also seen on this blade became associated with Passau, but was later used by Solingen blade makers for blades exported to Passau armorers.

It seems that the cartouche idea with the dotted surround was used by the Weyersbergs (among others) 1580-1659, so that would seem to align with the case for importing blades from Solingen to augment the number of blades actually produced in Hounslow by expatriate Solingen smiths.
