Sword with a guard for comments

Good afternoon, please help in attributing this sword.
length 86 cm, on the hilt there are traces of the lost "palyukh" and protection of fingers, in the large ring of the guard, a furrow from the lost shield is visible, the handle tree has not been preserved.
I would be very grateful for your opinions.

As Marius said 16th c, late 16th c probably North Italian, with what I think is an older blade.
This is not uncommon at all in these swords and here it's done during working life.
Good preserved older blades being remounted in 16th c arsenals in newer type of guards was common practise and before a campaign even more so.
The sword seems to be acid cleaned, the grip replaced, thumb ring lost and guard plate is missing, given ist condition is all quite normal.

I have seen that sort of quillions often in Swedish swords. The guard with two large rings is common in those. Sometimes associated to olive-like pommels. Lets see if I find some pictures.
