Hello,

can you please identify these daggers/knives?
The one with the dark handle is likely German.

The one in down is European, possible German and I guess the one in the middle as well.

Hi,
The middle one looks like it could be from a European hunting trousse or possibly an adjunct to a hunting sword.
Regards,
Norman.

Thanks and sorry for posting in the wrong section.
The top one could be from Algeria I was told.
Bosnia could also be an option.

The designs to the bone, a dot within a circle, is a decoration used primarily in ethnographic settings (I know! After you got it moved over here!!). I agree with the others as far as the second and third piece, while this one is more elusive.

I've seen Afghan items with this decor pattern, also Berber/W African. Some North American Tlingit items with the same design and at least one "colonial Spanish' espada with similar patterning. I know the shape doesn't lend itself to Afghan/Pathan, but I'm a novice when it comes to these. Also, being that it's modern (post 1900), it could have taken on a more Western form-

As I wrote in another forum I would say the curved knife is Algerian or maybe from an adjacent state. The circles on the handle and the blade decorations are similar to other knives and daggers from this region I have seen in the past.
