Hello dear members,

I wanted to show you this statue-bowl,
it seems pretty old ,
First I thought it was a bull or a big cat,:confused:

I don't know exactly what it is, a devil ? monster ?
Yokai if it's japanese...

I wanted first put candy inside but not sure...:D
Does anybody know were it come from and what it represents ?

It's a cat taking a dump. :D

You could use it for storing kitty snacks, but I'd wash it thoroughly first. ;)

yes it looks japanese, thank you for the Meiji era.

yes maybe a cat on steroïds :D

like a puzzle, found the character seated on it, ( incense burner...)

the clue is Kintaro !

No cat or rat on steroids, It is a bear !! :) :p

Aha! Showing the seated rider would have obviated the Neko theory.
