as I was looking for a rare book, I noticed that the Met museum has a lot of legal free downloads .
Not only the specific book I was looking for, but also on other arms and armour. Hence I want to share this with you prior you spending money (which you still can do ofcource, if you prefer a hard copy in your hands - no offence intended)
Please have a look:
https://www.metmuseum.org/art/metpublications/search-publication-results?&fmt=0&dept=0&tc=0&pt=0&title=arms&searchType=C&&rpp=12&pg=2
which also reminds me when years ago my daughter at the age of 15 became a fan of Johny Depp when she watched Pirates of the Caribbean and took up fencing, I got her some books on history and techniques...as there are quite a lot of fencing and sword fighting books free from copy rights available on legal download sites as :
https://www.gutenberg.org/
and
https://archive.org/
