Hi, Can anyone share info on this keris? The hilt seems to be a type of seed pod. Thanks!

banksia seed pods make cool knife handles, the pores can be cast with coloured resin. Not very old tho...

Shape of hilt is very similar to this recently posted sewar

Hello David,
I don't think there is any relationship between these designs (aside from that oval hilts allow for a decent grip/push).
The Sumatran sewar has a round hilt while the keris hilt exhibits faceting.

Would it be possible to get a shot looking down onto the top of the gonjo?
