Looks like a ww1-2 era Mk.II, replaced by the very similar but slightly stronger and slightly heavier bladed M43 - that came out in - 1943. Nice khuks with full exposed tangs and rivet on wood scales. (referred to as Chiruwa) they tend not to have the traditional raised ring feature found in the middle of most civilian khuk grips.
The butt plate was fitted over two posts protruding from the end of the tang, and peened over. You can see it better on one of Chiruwas, below.
I like the smooth spine profiles on these and the m43s, the broke-back spines on newer ones, not so much.
Photo of my favourite Chiruwa one, the scale rivets are hard to see as they are patinated. (It's not the same model as yours, was likely a private purchase ossifer's one)

F.G.A. Frontier Garrison Artillery - a 'Native' Regiment. (From a list of WW2 abbreviations I found) they had some connections to the Khyber Rifles. Google "King of the Khyber Rifles" or watch the movie at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1FoWcwnbCU
Looking closer at the "41" - it may be really a "4 I", a unit designator. Maybe 4th Infantry (speculation)? not a mfg. date. So, it could be an M43...which is also in the MkII family.
Approx. M43 specs:
Overall: 43,5 cm (17 inches).
Blade: 33 cm (13 inches)
High Carbon Spring Steel.
Handle: (incl. bolster): 11,5 cm (4,5 inches) Rosewood.
HRC: 56-58.
Weight: 655 g (excl. scabbard)
Etc: Full-tang, sunken rivets, brass washer
