I'm still slimming down my collection so this is the second batch for sale.

From the top:
1811 French cutlass – with the sculpted quillon. It is very much rarer than the 1833.
Fair condition for its age but it has been well used. The hilt has a few dents and the blade has been sharpened many times and the point is rounded. The writing on the back of the blade is readable in places …..Klingenthal Septembre 181?

Manuf re R le de Châtellerault x bre 1847 ( Manufacture Royale de Châtellerault décembre 1847).
Inspector’s cartouches and both anchors still well defined.

Prussian Cutlass also used by Piedmont Sardinia c.1847.
Makers name A& E Holler and inspectors mark of PC on the other side.

Solingen made machete type cutlass made for the Latin American market. Simple cross guard, dark wood handle with small chip repair.
Marked: Fernando Esser/ Elberfeld/ Acero Fundido (cast steel)/ Garantizado (warranted)/ No 87 and with a maned stallion logo.

Japanese Wakizashi – very nice wavy hamon and an unidentified signature on the tang.
A couple of nicks to the blade edge.
