I refer to some posts of our dear friend Matchlock posted in March 2014 here http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showpost.php?p=168059&postcount=68

In 1983, a heard of several hundred ceramic grenades was discovered next to the New Castle at Ingolstadt, Germany, during construction work for an underground car park.

Since 2014 my wife and myself are involved in the investigation of the find in cooperation with Stadtmuseum Ingolstadt. Hereafter you will find our first introduction and intermediate report on our findings in German language:
https://www.academia.edu/31775145/Explosives_aus_der_Tiefgarage_-_Ein_au%C3%9Fergew%C3%B6hnlicher_Keramikgranatenfu nd_aus_Ingolstadt

And here you will find an English and French abstract of our report:
https://www.academia.edu/35146728/Franzkowiak_Wenzel_Abstract_2016

Also on my private homepage you will find an updated summary

Excelent work, Andi. I am saving all this info.
I am glad to say that i have one of these grenades, with marks listed in our article ... and an actual fuse, such one offered by Michael; which is kept apart, in a plastic box, due to its fragility.

Thank you for this, and the very interesting links, Andi!

I must go back and read the "Matchlock" thread.

Please keep us updated on future findings regarding these. All so very Interesting!

Richard.
