I know that one of these is a Shona dagger and another is possibly a Chinese currency sword. I’m not sure what the others are. Moroccan? Jambiyas? Any information would be greatly apriciated.
Many thanks,
Tom.

Hi Tom,
From the top....
The scabbard and handle are from a Moroccan Koummyya dagger.
Some sort of African knife.
Moroccan Koummyya dagger.
Algerian (so called) Wedding Nimcha.
The whip is likely a Camel Whip.Could be North African or from anywhere where camels are used.

They have camels in China...
But this has nothing to do with camels and whip...
It's a Chinese sword made of coins...

Yep you are right. On a closer look (magnified) it is NOT a whip but a coin sword.

Hi All,
I believe the African knife is a bakatwa of the Shona people. See Spring's African Arms and Armor pg 134.
