Dagger, Choora and axe

I couldn´t resist and I got this lot today....
I must say I bought it because of the dagger...
Should really appreciate opinions about it.... Any opinions at all...

Nice lot to pick up.

The top one appears to be a Kurdish jambiya with a nice clean blade and typical raised central rib.

The middle one is a choora/pesh kabz/karud (pick the name you prefer and see threads elsewhere on this forum). I think it is probably 19th C.

The bottom one is an Ngombe ngulu sword once used to decapitate victims but later primarily a ceremonial instrument.

Maybe a silly question but is it possible to put a country on the dagger.... I mean Turkey, Iraq, Syria or Iran... Just curious and I want to learn....
I uploaded a picture of the sheath for the dagger....

So far I only have three daggers but hopefully there will be more.

Nice lot you have there. I like the Ngulu sword. Don't know much about them, but it looks great and authentic.

I like the other group too. All typical and good pieces. As for the exact origin of the Kurdish dagger, it is hard to say. There are members of the forum who can tell you, but even in Artzi's site they are often sold as "Eastern Turkey of Northern Iraq".
If I had to guess, I would say Northern Iraq, because of the sleek shape of the hilt and because Turkish scabbards often have a horn, ivory of wooden tip.
How big is it? Standard size is 16-18 inch, but it looks much smaller than the upper one.

Very nice daggers!
It's very difficult to say unless you have a specific blade or something on the hilt or the sheat... Kurdish...
Of course the one in the middle is from lower Irak (Baghdad-Bassorah)
so-called Marsh dagger...

A great many of the Kurdish jambiyah from Kurdistan* are wootz! look carefully, the grain structure may be noticeable without etching. Have a look thru the forum search on Kurdish and/or wootz...

*- The Kurdish inhabitants disagree with the current arbitrary borders set up mostly by the UK after ww2 which did not recognise ethnic reality & have resisted rule by these foreigners (Iran,Turkey,Iraq,Syria) ever since.

Middle around 40 cm
Bottom around 38 cm

The dagger with buffalo horn hilt seems like Pesh Kabz, the other dagger tho is also a pesh kabz but can teally see the afghan influence, especially on the shape of the dagger close to the hilt and even the pins.
