This is a turkish shishane tufenk, with beatifully decorated stock. What makes this interesting though, is that instead of teh usuall miquellet mechanism, it has a capslock one, that looks as a local manufacture. HAve you seen any other examples like that? Also the barel, althoygh not the usual type, looks "oriental made" with these inlays. I was wondering if this is an old musket that was converted to capslock, or it was made from the begining with this type of lock and barel.

You've always the best objects!
Yes this musket was converted, you can see the hole of the pan & frizen that have been removed.
The barrel is very interesting and signed.
The barrel and the stock are Turkish to me.

Yes we have the same GOOD taste.
What a collection you have, I like the one with the green bones.
Here is mine.
