HERE IS A DAGGER ,AS PER EXPERTS EITHER FROM SOUTH LEBANON OR PALESTINE ,FROM THE NORTH OF ISRAEL WITH STRONG SYRIAN INFLUENCES.
MOTAN COULD TELL US MORE

Three good exemplars. All collected in Israel in the late 70's

Lovely Examples,all seem to have olive wood or bone handles.
What period is my Dagger and are these called Khanjars in the North of Israel, Thanks Artzi

Hi Rajesh,
You are right and I have nothing to add really. The origins of these daggers is obscure, but Northern Israel, as Artzi says, is most probable and the first half of the last century is the age which I can not narrow to a specific decade. Anyway, these pieces are not common and are authentic and therfore, it is a nice catch :)
