Timber question

Has anyone identified the timber type used on the sheath of Aceh Panjang, Pencong, Peurawot etc?

Hello Gavin,

I'm in the process of identifying it, hopefully.

It's quite distinctive and I believe it to be feasible - will take a while longer than expected though... ;)
